Sharon Yvonne Stone (born March 10 1959) was born in Meadville Pennsylvania to Dorothy Lawson an accountant and Joseph William Stone Jr. who was a tool and die manufacturer who had previously been employed as a worker in an industrial company. Michael, Kelly and Patrick are her three siblings. Stone has a talent in school as young children, began her second-grade education at age five. In 1975 she was a graduate of Saegertown high school located in Saegertown (Pennsylvania). In addition, she competed in and won at the Miss Pennsylvania beauty contest. Stone and her aunt moved out of New Jersey to New Jersey to begin a modeling career in the year 1977. The two signed on with The Ford Modeling Agency after a couple of months. Then, she moved to Europe, spending a year with her aunt in Milan and Paris. Stone was however dissatisfied in Europe by the fashion industry, and decided to venture into acting. She was 20 when she appeared in the Woody Allen film "Stardust Memories," with mixed receptions.
